Thanks for posting the links which you always do. Great song choices. I think September is a little better than August for some reason - The Boulder He's Gone>The Other One from Dicks 36 is my favorite version. I like Paris but the transition jam is very unique in the September show.

The Stanley Theatre show 28th, is as special - if we are talking strickly He's Gone>The Other One which I guess I am so here it is for the millionth time like corn bread it is so good - just eat it and shut your trap like mom used to say - The Bobby McGee is very nice, so much better than My & My Uncle or El Paso as a sandwich might go...

oh man DP 36 (1972-09-03) other one!!!! holy jesus. Listened to thAT bad boy on my way home today. The intro is epic to say the least and has many awesome awesome moments within the 30 minutes. 72 is so awesome in that aspect, the other one left its typical place and adapted a lot of dark star like qualities, never the same before or after IMO.

and yes this weeks taper section is great. I listened to that TOO but need a few more listens before i go talking about it. However i love the pre-BIODTL chatter. "it's gotta be less than 20 otherwise the union won't go for it" - Jerry
